Job Description

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our Home Office in the Galleria area. This position will play a critical role in ensuring that NorthStar is hiring the best possible talent and achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers, and building pipelines. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, strong organizational and time management skills, as well as, the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with business leaders and hiring managers by collaborating on talent/resource needs and search strategies
  • Develop and administer effective national/market-level recruiting programs and strategies to aid in the hiring of revenue producing & operations positions at all levels
  • Utilize internal databases (iCIMS and CareerBuilder's Talent Network) and external job boards to identify potential candidates and disseminate to regional hiring managers
  • Develop creative/effective job postings and post to social media recruiting sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc) to increase available candidate pool
  • Develop additional creative recruiting resources and networking activities to attract qualified candidates
  • Aid regional teams in positing positions, sourcing/screening/interview talent, and the offer process
  • Demonstrate business acumen and subject matter expertise on using the latest recruiting technology and analyzing talent pool trends
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of high-volume recruiting and/or staffing industry experience (Commission-based sales recruiting experience preferred)
  • Experience executing all stages of the recruitment process including strategy and target development and full-cycle recruiting
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate/present information to Senior Leadership, Hiring Managers, and Candidates
  • Results-driven and organized; effectively managing competing priorities
  • Strong strategic and creative thinker who can distill recruitment strategies into actionable plans - and execute on them
  • General knowledge of principles/practices of Human Resources administration
  • Computer Proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Social Media Platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with iCIMS ATS and CareerBuilder's Talent Network preferred
