We are seeking an Assistant Office Manager for Banks Page/Theis Funeral Home in Wildwood, FL.  This position will will supervise the administration team under the direction of the Office Manager and provide administrative support to the Office Manager, Sales Manager and General Manager. The successful candidate will have strong planning, organizational and time management skills, as well as, 3+ years of experience in and administrative management role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales, funeral service, maintenance and administrative teams in clerical tasks
  • Assist guests and vendors who visit the facility
  • Plan events such as holiday events, state memorial days, and visit community places (churches, hospitals, nursing homes or community centers)
  • Look for opportunities to sponsor events as a company, such as sports tournaments, breakfast, chamber meetings, church events and other charitable event
  • Remain up-to-date on all key issues, tasks, results and efforts required of the administrative team
  • Provide support to the teams to ensure all items are achieved on-time or ahead of schedule
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3+ years in an administrative leadership role
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience supporting a senior-level executive
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
