Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Supervisor for Restland of Dallas' Family Service team. This position will be responsible for ensuring sales goals are met by effectively assisting the sales manager in the recruiting, hiring, training and retaining of sales advisors. The successful candidate will have professional communication skills, previous sales experience, and experience in the funeral services profession.

  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to their team members.  Motivating and inspiring their team to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Conduct daily team meetings to recognize achievements, teach skills and motivate the team
  • Manage, direct and assist in the initial and continuing training and performance management of assigned sales advisors
  • Provide instruction to ensure all location rules and regulations are studied, understood, and adhered to
  • Coach and train on current cemetery inventory
  • Effective communication skills to clearly convey instructions, provide feedback and communicate with our client families, team members, other departments and upper management
  • Supervisors are responsible for monitoring the performance of their team members to ensure that goals are being met and tasks are completed on time. 
  • Oversee their team’s daily/weekly activities to ensure activity levels meet requirements in numerous areas including prospecting and pre-need sales presentations
  • Observe each sales advisor's pre-need and at-need presentations and assist in the perfection of such presentations
  • Create a positive and productive work environment for team members
  • Exhibit time management skills – must be able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and ensure that deadlines are met
  • 4+ years of sales experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Knowledge of closing procedures for sales
  • Professional communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
